One Love Learning Foundation

Hanover Charities’ partner, The One Love Learning Foundation (OLLF), has as its mission to open up a whole new world to Jamaican youth, feeding them in body, mind and soul through gardening, cultural exchange and arts programs.  In conjunction with Hanover Charities, OLLF has established a gardening program and drumming classes in two local elementary schools—the Esher Primary School and the Watford Hill Primary School. With funding from Hanover Charities,  The Esher Primary school garden subsidizes the school canteen kitchen and helps provide healthy meals to the students.  The garden at the Watford Hill Primary school is geared toward a trade and commerce program in conjunction with Round Hill Hotel and Villas. The OLLF consultants guide the school gardening clubs through the process of how to successfully plant organic vegetables, provide seeds and regular visits. More school gardens are planned for the future.
