Our Mission

The mission of Hanover Charities is, and always has been, to improve the health, welfare, and education of our neighbors in Hanover Parish.

Funds from Hanover Charities provide help to dozens of charitable efforts each year, including:

Programs to feed school children, the elderly, the indigent.

Facilities, clinics, institutions, and projects providing health services.

Organizations that promote positive values and education for children.

Promising students in need of financial aid through Morris- Watkins Memorial Scholarships.

The majority of our funds come from one very special weekend in February.  For the past decades, Hanover Charities has held the Sugar Cane Ball, which has become a date on the international social calendar.  For information on the yearly Ball, please Click Here.
